The British Columbia State Assembly is an unincorporated body which assists the Provinces and Territories of the landmass commonly known as Canada to meet with and organize the living people on the land to form their own provincial and territorial governments based on the will of their people.

The scenario of organizing an Assembly may, at first, seem superfluous, redundant, or even bizarre to consider as process of organizing 'British Columbia' was seemingly accomplished a long time ago. We already have a Provincial and government, do we not? Well….no. For the record, what we have is a corporation masquerading as a government.
This situation begs the question as to whether the people would like to continue with the existing practice, of being ‘ruled’ by a corporation whose main goals are profits for its ‘shareholders’, or whether this would this be a good time for the people to have another look at their options? This may be especially important now, as our ‘corporate governments’ here, and across the country, at every level, appear to be leading us collectively into greater economic and monetary disarray every year.
Over the past century, the choices we have been given shuffle back and forth between the right, center, and left parts of the political spectrum. Regardless of the choices made, however, the system does not change. Those who are interested in being elected are pre-selected as ‘suitable’ choices. The end result…the masses believe they have voted and that the new administration will finally solve the latest problems facing our province’. Sadly, it is the system itself which confines us and which limits our ability to find creative solutions to the dilemma in which we now find ourselves.
Looking back on the history of ‘Canada’ and the choices those in power have made, always at the expense of the provincial taxpayers, we must ask ourselves if we are not also responsible for the current situation. WHO is keeping an eye on the government? Are the people actively engaged in the decision-making? Does voting on pre-selected candidates qualify as self-governance? We think NOT! Let’s consider some new options!
Following a period of discussion, consultation, via Town Hall and online meetings and gatherings, the people of each Province/Territory can decide how they wish to proceed.
Some of the obvious choices are:
Provinces like British Columbia and others, which already know their direction and selection are now in a position to stand and seat their own Assemblies , set up their own Courts, their Militias and Defense systems, etc., and also their International Business Units.
(Note that each Provinces and Territory may need /wish to prepare an internal Compact/Agreement with its People to stand as an individual sovereign unit, based on local belief systems and customs, or on geographic boundaries.)

Buckminster Fuller
